The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series kicked off its 2012 season at Firebird International Raceway this past weekend.  New faces made their presence known as they took it to the veteran short course drivers all weekend.  The fresh dirt on the untouched track didn’t last long.  Extreme bumping and grinding, rollovers, carnage, and battles for the first podium of the season, all of which define the sport of short course racing, made the opening rounds a spectacle to witness.
