Mad Media Hires Seasoned Editor & DVD Authoring Guru Ryan Holdridge

Mad Media has announced that Ryan Holdridge has been named Director of Multimedia Design. Ryan brings with him a skill set that includes professional editing experience with Apple Final Cut Studio 2, advanced compositing with Apple Shake, and standard definition / Blu-ray DVD authoring experience using Apple DVD Studio Pro and Adobe Encore environments. He has been actively mastering the Panasonic HD P2 camera systems as an assistant DOP as well. Ryan’s role at Mad Media will be to support their growing HD video and film production department as they service some of today’s most exciting action sports and motor sports companies.

“Ryan represents a new breed of designer that has emerged with talents ranging from traditional cinematography technique to complex DVD authoring experience. Rather than focusing on a single discipline, he has embraced several that logically follow each other throughout the entire production process”, commented Director of Film/Television Production, Joshua Martelli. “Everyone here at Mad Media has both a primary skill set, and a healthy knowledge of other overlapping art forms. This has been critical to our success. So we were excited to find Ryan and discover that in addition to DVD authoring and editing, he was experienced with shooting, composting, color correction, and more importantly had the desire to continue to grow his skill set. He’s a great fit for the Mad Media family.”

Ryan will begin work right away on the Subaru Rally Team viral web series they are currently producing for Subaru of America, as assistant DOP and assistant editor. He will spearhead all of the DVD authoring and web video compression services at Mad Media as well.
