Subaru Rally Team USA – Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally 2007

One of the oldest rally races on the schedule, Susquehannock Trail (commonly known as STPR) first began in 1977. It is not only the oldest, but it is also the fastest rally in North America. With roads consisting of clay and gravel, the course is slippery, fast and extremely dangerous. Drivers travel at speeds reaching 100 MPH through densely wooded roads. The speeds combined with the dangerous course ensure that this rally is not for the feint at heart. Travis Pastrana drove his 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STI rally car to a 3rd Overall finish at the Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally (STPR). A tire puncture and an engine misfire prevented him from battling for an overall victory, but the strong points finish moved him up into a tie for 3rd Overall in the hunt for the championship. Ken Block sustained damage duting testing (“Shakedown”) that forced him to withdraw from the competition after only a few stages.
