Doors Bang at Rounds 5&6 of Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series

LOORRS Speedworld

It was a wild one at rounds 5&6 of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series in Surprise, Arizona.  With temperatures reaching 110 degrees, the scolding sun dried Speedworld Off Road Park and made it one of the most carnage friendly tracks this season.  On Saturday, we saw Jeremy McGrath go for a wild ride after landing directly on top of Carl Renezeder after hitting a table top jump.  Josh Merrell’s day came to an early end when he rolled his Pro4 truck 3 times on Sunday.  The track was a factor that all drivers dealt with but it proved to be no match for RJ Anderson and Kyle Leduc, as they swept Pro-Lite and Pro4.  Rob Mac drove back on to the podium, taking 1st and 2nd in Pro2.  With the leader board now established 6 rounds in to the season, battles for top spots will start to unfold at rounds 7&8 in Toole, Utah.
