Mad Media and The Martelli Brothers collect an astounding thirty-six Telly Awards!

Voting for the 33rd Annual Telly Awards concluded last month, and the final count for Mad Media and the directing duo The Martelli Brothers is an amazing thirty-six statues, including twenty-one bronze, ten silver, and five coveted Peoples Telly Awards! The submissions by Mad Media included a one-hour television special, national television commercials, and several viral videos for clients ranging from Continental Tire to Ford Motorsports and Monster Energy Drink.

The 2011 General Tire Mint 400 TV Show is a one-hour documentary program produced by Mad Media and directed by The Martelli Brothers that uncovered the intense world of professional off-road racing as told through coverage of the world famous four hundred mile Mint 400 off-road race. It aired on Fuel TV last fall, and both the program and the trailer earned a host of awards including four Silver Tellys (Documentary, Sports Show, Cinematography and Promotional Automotive) and four Bronze Tellys (Editing, Music, Sound Design, and Cinematography). Both also received highly coveted Bronze People’s Telly Awards as well.

Mad Media produced two award wining national commercials for Continental Tire including one that showcased GRAND-AM Road Racing – winning three silver awards (Automotive, Editing, and Cinematography) and two bronze awards (Sports and Sound Design) and a West Coast Customs spot that swept the deck with five bronze statues (Automotive, Art Direction, Editing, Cinematography and a People’s Telly).

“We produced a ton of compelling, authentic content in 2011”, said Joshua Martelli, Mad Media’s Chief Operating Officer. “We won two silver and three bronze Telly Awards for Ken Blocks Ford Fiesta Reveal clip. We took the People’s Telly in that category, AND another three bronze statues for our work with Ken/Ford on the FORD SYNC navigation clip.”

Rounding out the list of award winning work was a national television commercial for Falken Tire featuring 2012 AMA Supercross Champion Ryan Villopoto, for which Mad Media earned three bronze Telly statues (Automotive, Editing, Cinematography) and a series of eye-catching web videos for LED light manufacturing powerhouse Rigid Industries that netted three bronze and one silver statue(s) – bringing their grand total for the 33rd Annual Telly Awards to thirty-six!
