The idea behind XP1K4 was to build a super park in the natural setting of Southern California. We’re building a playground. We’re building the ultimate playground that everybody who’s grown up in the culture will relate to. The whole point of XP1K is to show people what these vehicles are capable of so were going to push the limits. We’re going big and we have to. It’s expected of us to push the limits and to outdo the video prior. There’s no way we could do that without RJ Anderson. At the end of the day, RJ’s willing to lay it all on the line and in XP1K4 that’s exactly what he’s doing.
Everything about this project is big. We have 8-10 people working on the design and construction of our stunts and 50 different people on the production side. From filmers to our drone operators to our GoPro specialists – This is really like filming 5 car commercials and putting them all back to back in a short amount of time. It’s really a remarkable amount of work that comes together in the span of a few months.
